I was a college student studying marketing when I stumbled across a video about TikTok creators and how effectively they influence buying decisions. The numbers were staggering — millions of followers, billions of views, and real purchasing power.
That's when it hit me: with this much money flowing through influencer marketing, how are brands actually tracking what works?
I dug in. What I found was a mess of spreadsheets, guesswork, and gut feelings. Brands were spending thousands on creators with no clear way to measure real ROI. The data existed — it just wasn't accessible.
So I built Trackfluence.
